Christy Kaupinen, Founder & President of CK Insights, is a senior executive with ~20 years experience in the healthcare industry across marketing, sales, and business development.
About Christy
Prior to founding CK Insights, Christy Kaupinen served as the Vice President of Marketing for Aspire Bariatrics, a venture-backed medical device company. As a member of Aspire’s Executive Leadership team, she played an integral role in bringing a novel endoscopic treatment for obesity from concept through FDA approval and commercialization. During her 7-year tenure at Aspire, Christy established the company’s launch strategy including branding, website optimization, digital advertising, and social media. Previous experience includes roles in sales and business development at Synthes, a leading global orthopedics company acquired by Johnson & Johnson for $21B, Product Marketing at Medtronic’s Endovascular Innovations Division, and Business Development at Othera Pharmaceuticals, an early-stage ophthalmology and oncology company. Christy began her career at Putnam Associates, a premier strategy consulting firm focused on the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors. Christy received her M.B.A. in Health Care Management from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and her B.A. in Economics from Princeton University, where she was a member of the Women’s Rowing Team.
